My new Tokyo Marui 416 has come!
Not that anything was wrong with my VFC416, but the entire contents of a 0.5L can of energydrink decided it’d roam free in my gun bag this summer!
It’s been thorougly cleaned, and internals changed, but I just felt like I couldn’t trust it anymore!
So when I got a good offer on it, about the same time Echigoya was accepting pre-orders, I just had to trade it for the new TM416!
Unfortunately Echigoya was practically out of mags(!) when I ordered, so I had to settle for one extra mag for it.
A pleasant surprise was that the magazine that came with the rifle was a lowcap! Hooray!
I expected it to be highcrap!
The rifle itself it extremely solid, as you’d expect with the newer TM rifles!
Lovely cold metal, no wobble anywhere, everything is tight and awesome.
The fireselector feels like it’s got sand in the mechanism, but it’s probably due to cogs used to make the selector ambidextrous, and once I realized this, it was Ok.
Buildquality get 9/10!
I haven’t fielded it yet due to not having converted it to be able to take lipo-batteries, but I plan to get it done within the next week.
In the meantime, I can atleast put some accessories on it to make it more Delta-friendly!
It new exterior consists ooof…
(** = replica)
Surefire M600C
EOtech 551
KAC flipups
LMT Cranestock
VCAS padded sling
Troy railcover
B&T railcover
**PEQ15
**Surefire Silencer
And the horrible HK pistolgrip is being replaced as well!

Looks nice! Do you run it with a LiPo battery or the original ones?
I’ll run it with lipos, but I need to solder a connection first, but I don’t have the necessary skills to do it myself, so I’ll have to wait until my gunsmith of choice is available next week;)
Okay
I think I’ll LiPo mod my SOPMOD too.
Tell me how it goes in case you get it done before me!
